N's first real Thanksgiving (as in, he could actually eat the food) went over very well. This was the year my mom's whole family gets together, and even though sickness kept a few folks away, it was so good to see everyone again. N enjoy spending time with the cousins (always a sucker for a rapt audience, my boy), and I had fun catching up with everyone. It was a crazy week, and N got completely off schedule, but he was such a trooper.
We're getting him ready for Christmas too! He doesn't really understand who Santa is just yet, but he's fascinated by the tree. We've had to move all our glass ornaments up to the top of the tree, because he kept pulling the balls off. So our tree's a little unbalanced until we get a few more durable ornaments up there.
This year his nativity set is taking center stage in the foyer, while my glass one gets relegated to the dining room table. N is enjoying taking the sheep and shepherds for tours of his garage, so the scene is never quite finished. It may be rather empty by the time Jesus makes his appearance, but I don't think He'll mind much!
